Great Yarmouth, North Sea

Scope

Geophysical, seismic, environmental & geotechnical surveys

  • UXO surveys along the export cable routes and inter-array cable corridors
  • Seismic and sub-bottom profiling surveys
  • Geotechnical investigations (CPT and Vibrocore) along the cable routes
  • WROV-based depth-of burial surveys of existing cables
  • Laboratory testing
  • Debris survey and removal
  • Environmental surveys
  • Reporting and data processing

Execution

N-Sea’s smart solution

N-Sea proposed mobilising five specialised vessels, each suited to specific project scopes requiring unique equipment and expertise. By delivering all survey scopes under a single contractor, interfaces between workstreams were reduced and simultaneous offshore operations were optimised.

N-Sea was also awarded the UXO route clearance scope, which was completed in 2025.
