Project Manager – Survey

As Project Manager Survey at N-Sea, you manage projects from contract award through to completion, taking full ownership of project delivery, including scope, budget, safety and client outcomes.

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience managing offshore survey projects. You ensure safe execution, on-time delivery, and performance in line with budget and client expectations. You lead the project team, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and act as the main point of contact for the client across the full project life cycle.

You are responsible for driving both the technical and commercial success of your projects, ensuring that all work is delivered in accordance with N-Sea standards, client requirements, and applicable industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage survey projects end-to-end, from planning through execution to close-out.
• Define and manage scope, budget, schedule, risks and project controls.
• Lead project teams and ensure effective allocation and utilisation of personnel.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and manage relationships throughout project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, and resource planning to support project execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, commercial, and SHEQ risks.
• Drive project strategy, including identifying additional commercial opportunities and relevant N-Sea services.
• Monitor project performance and deliver agreed KPIs.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
• Manage project close-out activities, including reporting, lessons learned, client feedback, final accounts and final payments.
• Support tender activities and provide project management support across the wider team when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or Business.
• Experience as a Project Manager within the offshore, oil & gas, renewable energy or marine sector.
• Experience managing offshore survey projects is highly desirable.
• Understanding of contracting formats and project delivery models used within the offshore industry.
• Experience with project management tools, Microsoft Office, and IFS.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
