Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for accuracy. This role is crucial in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and manage all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare relevant reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
• Provide support during audits and assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices is a plus.
